Indian film legend Saif Ali Khan (54) is currently hospitalized after being attacked in his own apartment in Mumbai by an unknown assailant. The incident, which occurred in the early hours of January 16, 2025, has shocked his fans and the entire Bollywood industry.
According to initial reports, the attacker gained access to the apartment through a building shaft, as captured on security cameras. Saif, who lives with his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, and their two sons, attempted to calm the intruder. However, the assailant reacted violently, stabbing the actor six times, with one of the wounds striking dangerously close to his spine.

Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. Doctors successfully removed a broken knife fragment, stabilized his condition, and expressed cautious optimism.
