Legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne (76) has announced that Black Sabbath will reunite for a final one-off concert in Birmingham, UK, on July 5, 2025. This marks the band’s first full reunion in 20 years, featuring the original lineup: Ozzy, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler, and drummer Bill Ward.
The concert, titled “Back To The Beginning,” will headline a major festival alongside rock and metal giants Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Alice In Chains, Lamb Of God, and Anthrax. Additionally, an all-star supergroup—including Billy Corgan, David Draiman, Duff McKagan, and Jonathan Davis—will perform at the event.
Fans Concerned About Ozzy’s Health
While the announcement has thrilled fans worldwide, many have raised concerns over whether Ozzy will be physically able to perform. The Prince of Darkness has battled serious health issues in recent years, including seven surgeries, Parkinson’s disease (diagnosed in 2003), and ongoing spinal problems.
Fans have taken to social media to express their doubts:
? “Will Ozzy actually make it to the stage? He hasn’t performed in years!”
? “His movements and voice are seriously affected by Parkinson’s. Hope he can do it, but I’m skeptical.”
? “Not sure if this is realistic, but if Mick Jagger can still do it, maybe Ozzy can too?”
Despite health struggles, Ozzy remains determined, stating:
“It’s time for me to give back to the place where I was born. Birmingham is the true home of metal.”
Will This Show Actually Happen?
With Ozzy’s recent performance cancellations and limited mobility, it remains uncertain how the concert will be structured. Some speculate that he may have vocal assistance or shorter set times.
One thing is clear—if this truly is Black Sabbath’s final show, it will be a historic moment in rock history.
