The rock world is once again in shock – Kurt Cobain’s hair and GG Allin’s blood-signed underwear are hitting the auction block! These bizarre relics from two of music’s most notorious icons will be up for grabs at Potter & Potter Auctions in the U.S., with bids already rolling in.
Kurt Cobain’s Hair – A Piece of Nirvana for Sale
Two strands of Cobain’s hair are currently on auction, with bids starting at $300 and climbing fast. The hair was reportedly cut by barber Tessa Osbourne during Nirvana’s 1989 UK tour and later gifted to a close friend of Cobain. This isn’t the first time his hair has made headlines—six strands previously sold for over $14,000 in 2021.
GG Allin’s Underwear? Signed in Blood with a Gross Message
If you thought Cobain’s hair was weird, GG Allin takes things to another level—his used underwear, signed in his own blood, is also on the auction block. The current bid? $425 and counting.
In classic GG Allin fashion, the back of the underwear features a handwritten message:
“Suck my ass it smells.”
